Each month we like to feature an outstanding photograph submitted by one of our members, not necessarily taken by the member.  The main interest can be pictorial, horticultural or environmental, and informative captions are welcome.

Photo of the Month

Next month’s picture could be one you send in - we can scan prints if you haven’t got a digital picture - post them to The Webmaster, 2 Cadogen Park, BT47 5QW, enclosing at least your name and address so that you can get your print back.

Otherwise, please choose an interesting digital picture and attach it to an e-mail that shows your name and a caption for the picture, then send it to

In the continuing absence of any photos submitted by our members,  I am inviting anybody to send in Spring photographs. It would be particularly nice to have a close-up of the blossom as well as a view of the whole plant. This one is of the Chilean Fire Bush - a tree that should be in flower here this Easter - there are two trees in Limavady, and it can be bought from Ballyrogan Nursery.
